Karate club Honbu
Students' Karate Club Honbu arranges a beginner's course in karate! The course is arranged once or twice a year starting in September and in January. The next course starts on the 13th of September 2010. If you already know karate, you might want to start at the practices for the upper belts.
Basic course
The basic course starts on Monday 18th in September.

Sign up for beginner's course by showing up to any practice during January. The only equipment you need is a t-shirt and tracksuit trousers. Training is free until the end of January. After January you are required to join Honbu. Teaching language will be some mix of Finnish and English. Usually our foreign students get along just fine :) For more information contact anyone at "Hallitus" page.
Club membership
You will have to be at least 18 years old to practice.
- Students 40 € / year (due October 5th)
- Other 50 € / year (due October 5th)
- Only spring season + summer 30 € (due February 15th)

Attending to belt exams at the end of each semester costs 5 euros (+ 20 euros for Karate passport, if you don't have one in advance). Karate-Gi (Karate suit) is required in the exam.
For more experienced karatekas
You are more than welcome to practice with us too! We train Koryu uchinadi -style karate but the style is suitable for those from other styles as well. Ask for more detailed information.
